Parable of the Sower

The Parable of the Sower (sometimes called the Parable of the Soils) is a parable of Jesus found in the three Synoptic Gospels〔See , , and 〕 and in the non-canonical Gospel of Thomas.〔(Thomas 9 )〕 In this story, a sower sowed seed on the path (way side), on rocky ground and among thorns, and the seed was lost; but when the seed fell on good earth it grew, yielding thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.
